Visitor Guide
The Museum of Health and Medicine presents exhibits on the history of the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Medicine and the University of Tokyo Hospital, as well as on modern medicine and healthcare. The history section includes information in English, while all other areas are presented in Japanese only.
Groups of 20 or more, including school groups, are asked to apply in advance. When contacting us, please include the following information:
- Date and time of your visit
- Visitor category (general public, students, or other)
- Number of visitors

- Please keep your voice down and enjoy the exhibits quietly.
- Follow the instructions of museum staff while inside the museum.
- Please do not touch the exhibits unless specifically permitted.
- Entry may be restricted when the museum is crowded.
